Hotfrog.orgHotFrog.org (due to launch mid 2010) offers users a wide array of content from a community of international writers and activists. The website includes the ‘HotPlace’ channel which bring this content and HotFrog’s key audiences alive through a social networking framework, utilizing a variety of web 2.0 tools to help to facilitate communication and collaboration.

Project highlights:

  • Having spent so much time in the CMS (Drupal) admin, I was able to confidently dictate changes to the user interface and admin tools, as well as create guides for the client’s content editors.
  • The listing styles in this project allow all content types (video, slide shows, articles, etc.) to be displayed together with no visual or functional glitches.

I also designed an iPhone application for this client, which allows users to submit stories and images ‘on the road’, with phase two of this application to include video submissions.

The client is incredibly pleased with the website and iPhone app, which is ultimately the most important and rewarding aspect of this project.
